About

On the border of Bas-Saint-Laurent and Chaudière-Appalaches, the Seigneurie des Aulnaies offers a range of heritage properties and breathtaking landscapes. It is a recognized museum institution and a classified site.

The guides dressed as period characters allow visitors to relive the way of life of the lords and censitaires in New France.

Erected in 1739 then rebuilt in 1842, the flour mill embodies the obligation for the lord to build a mill to serve his censaires. Our miller transforms grain into flour, all year round, with the same mechanism as in the 19th century.

Built in 1853, the Victorian-style manor, where the sumptuous interiors are visible to the eye curious, is framed by vast galleries decorated with lace and surrounded by gardens.

The museum boutique at the Welcome Pavilion offers you its flour and allows you to discover the know-how of the artisans and the local products.
