Transportation
If all roads lead to Rome, many roads lead to the Bas-Saint-Laurent!
Car, coach and train
If you’re travelling by car, take Highway 20 or Route 132. You can also travel to the region by coach and train, both of which make many stops through the region, in particular in Rimouski and Rivière-du-Loup.

Ferries
Travel from the Bas-Saint-Laurent to the North Shore in no time with daily ferry services between Rivière-du-Loup and Saint-Siméon, and Trois-Pistoles and Les Escoumins. We also have ferries running from L’Île Verte to Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs and a crossing on Lac Témiscouta. Timetables and sailing conditions vary, so make sure you check with the ferry operators before travel. Have a great trip!
Planes
We are also accessible by air with two local airports in Rivière-du-Loup and Rimouski. The regional airport in Mont-Joli provides daily flights to many destinations in Québec, and Québec City’s Jean-Lesage airport flies to both domestic and international destinations.
