Rivière-du-Loup has retained all the charm of its rich heritage from the beginnings of the lordship and the passage of rich English-speaking notables. The city is spread over three levels.
From the river, where it is connected to the north shore by a ferry, you can go on an excursion to the islands. Parc de la Pointe offers you direct access to the river, trails, a cycle path, rest areas and games for children.
In the city center and in old Rivière-du- Wolf, a walk is necessary. Stroll along rue Lafontaine with its restaurants and boutiques, and admire its architectural riches. Arts and culture are omnipresent here: museums, parks, musical events and local artisans will delight you.
As for sports and outdoor activities, a range of possibilities are available to you, including cycling and cross-country skiing. The town is accessible by snowmobile and quad.
