About
Rimouski is the oceanographic capital of Quebec. The city’s territory extends from the Le Bic district to that of Pointe-au-Père, to the east, and to the Sainte-Blandine district to the south. Coming from the west, you arrive in a relief landscape offered by the Bic national park.
Do not hesitate to take rue Sainte-Cécile-du-Bic to access the heart of this district. Downtown Rimouski opens onto the river and Saint-Barnabé Island which dominate the panorama. The Sea Promenade is the ideal place to enjoy this grandiose landscape. You then cross the Rimouski-Est district where the marina is located and arrive at Pointe-au-Père where the famous Onondaga submarine sits at the Pointe-au-Père Maritime Historic Site.
Activities for all tastes are to be discovered in Rimouski: heritage circuit, museums, art galleries, parks and interpretation centers, public market, theater and events, golf courses, cycle paths (Green Route) linking Rimouski in Sainte-Luce, and much more…
