Located back from the banks, Saint-Éloi offers a panorama of the river and the mountains of Charlevoix extending over nearly 200 kilometers. Surrounded by rich agricultural land, it is located halfway between Trois-Pistoles and Rivière-du-Loup.

The municipality was the birthplace of Adélard Godbout, Prime Minister of Quebec (1936 and 1939 to 1944). ), and Ernest Lapointe, federal Minister of Justice (1921 to 1924). It still houses the paternal homes of these illustrious people. Near the church, a park invites relaxation and entertainment.

Visitors will appreciate the work of the local artists and craftsmen and purchase beautiful souvenirs. Cycling enthusiasts will enjoy the landscapes of the circuits offered and walkers will be able to stretch themselves on the National Trail. Snowmobile and quad trails also crisscross the municipality.
