Municipality of the route des Monts Notre-Dame, Saint-Michel-du-Squatec is also the main gateway to Lac-Témiscouata national park. The municipality literally takes shape in the heart of the mountains and on the edge of a large network of lakes and rivers.

In summer and winter, outdoor and nature enthusiasts can indulge in fishing , hiking on the National Trail, canoe or kayak rides from our campsite, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on well-maintained trails, snowmobile and quad outings in a setting offering magnificent viewpoints.

In the village, practice your favorite sports such as tennis, softball, soccer and skating in a safe environment. As for the local economy, it is based on wood processing, agriculture, maple syrup growing, tourism and various businesses.
