On the Monts Notre-Dame road, in the heart of picturesque mountains, the villagers of Auclair enjoy nature and pure air. Auclair experienced the threat of closure of the village in the 1960s. Residents were able to resist it and, today, while retaining a rustic character, new technologies and main services are offered to tourist customers.

In all seasons, Auclair offers wonders. In spring, thousands of maple trees produce precious water that maple producers transform into various tasty products. In autumn, the changing colors make the landscapes striking; maple trees abound there.

Snowmobile and quad enthusiasts can get there via the trails crisscrossing the municipality.
