Laura Martin, she shares her crushes and discoveries with us for our greatest happiness!

Is holiday stress slowly starting to get to you? Can you feel it rising when you think of your shopping list, your menu of appetizers to cook and the festival of family activities to organize?

Relieve the pressure by spending a few hours in one of the Bas-Saint-Laurent spas. There’s nothing like a whirlpool bath to take your mind off the whirlwind. You’ll be zen, zen, zen on New Year’s Eve…

UniversSpa Nordik (Rivière-du-Loup)

To get your body ready to dance and play Twister with the cousins, make an appointment to be pampered at the UniverSpa at the Hotel Universel.

The list of body and facial treatments is as long as your goddaughter’s gift list. Different promotions are offered, depending on the day of the week: on Tuesdays, access to the baths is free for those aged 50 and over with the purchase of a treatment, and on Fridays, a spa package for two comes with a charcuterie platter and a glass of wine.

We guarantee that after an hour in the tub, you’ll have no tension left in your shoulders.

Noah Spa (Rimouski)

It’s hard to reinvent the Nordic bath experience, which has proven its value since its origins in Scandinavian countries.

Located right next to the Le Navigateur hotel, the Noah Spa has succeeded in innovating with its “eaunergic” pools. In this large aquatic circuit, you stroll through the various massage jet stations (neck fountain, back, arm and foot jets, walking corridor, etc.).

You float from one zone to the next, just as you would from one store to the next in a shopping mall: but without the hustle and bustle, the sense of urgency… and in your bathing suit! Boy, does that feel good!

Centre de santé L’Estuaire (Rivière-du-Loup)

Completely renovated two years ago, Hôtel Levesque’s magnificent spa area offers instant relaxation, with the gift of a breathtaking view of the Charlevoix mountains.

Reserved for the less chilly clientele, its outdoor relaxation area (with fireplace!) is perfect for putting the hamster in your head to sleep for a few minutes. The choice is also yours when it comes to pampering by expert hands. Pressotherapy, balneotherapy, endermology: all these “y” words will get you back on track before the first “Ho! Ho! Ho!”.
