Marc Larouche, he shares with us his tourist discoveries of his adopted region with passion!

From July 11 to 13, 2025, the Centre d’art de Kamouraska presents the third ARCHIPEL festival. This unique event will transform Kamouraska, Saint-Pascal and Saint-Pacôme into vibrant, luminous stages. Live arts, heritage and sublime landscapes will combine to make Kamouraska an ARCHIPEL of creativity.

From Friday, July 11 at 3:30 p.m., Kamouraska will come alive around the Centre d’art.

The percussive rhythms of the Mississippi Sound System will set the pace for the weekend. Contemporary dancers from Fleuve | Espace danse will rock the landscape, while DJ Philomène transforms the village into a summer dance floor. Street food trucks and a bar will delight the taste buds.

The evening will conclude in a magical atmosphere at the Saint-Louis-de-Kamouraska church, where Ingrid St-Pierre will offer a moment of grace and intimacy, buoyed by the beauty of the setting.

On Saturday, July 12, head to Place de l’Expo in Saint-Pascal.

In the afternoon, children and adults alike will discover a recreational and artistic space: show-workshop with Josée Bourgoin, Maxime Éthier, Annabelle Guimond-Simard and Emmanuella Razgui-Alain, delirious clowns with Loïc Breuzin and his accomplice, and twirling circus with Andréanne Thiboutot.

There’s plenty to laugh, move, eat and enjoy. At the end of the day, Kourage (Benoît Ouellet) will deliver a festive rock show, followed by a DJ set on the legendary Mixbus with DJ DORO.

The Avec pas d’casque band will conclude the evening in the church, with a performance full of nuance and emotion.

On Sunday, July 13, the festival comes to a close in Saint-Pacôme, at the summit of Belvédère de la Croix, with a breathtaking view of the river and mountains. There, Christine Beaulieu will present her documentary theater Les saumons de la Mitis.

Afterwards, William Guay and his string orchestra will plunge the audience into a neoclassical atmosphere, and slammer Louis Lahaye Roy will close the ball with his gripping texts.

Local flavors and a bar will be available on site, so you can savor until the last minute.

Much more than a festival, ARCHIPEL, presented thanks to the invaluable support of CN, is an invitation to explore Kamouraska with eyes wide open, to plunge into a region where the arts meet the horizon. The warmth of the people, the beauty of the architecture and the gentleness of the river will make every moment an unforgettable interlude.
