Whether it’s a family outing, a get-together with friends or a romantic getaway, nothing beats a well-prepared picnic. To help you create the perfect basket, here are a few tasty, local ideas for you to discover.
Fruit and vegetables
Fruit and vegetables are an important part of our diet. Don’t forget to bring along some raw vegetables or fruit, fresh or dried. Take advantage of public markets or visit your local market gardener to stock up on fresh produce.
You can even accompany your vegetables with a dip or hummus, and your fruit with nut butter or caramel for a sweet touch.

Crackers or a breadstick
If there’s one item that goes well with picnics, it’s crackers. They can withstand all kinds of temperatures and will still be just as crunchy. Just remember to carry them in a rigid container, so you don’t end up with crumbs when you get to your destination!
